Racecourses:

Cheltenham Racecourse (Prestbury) Website

The home of National Hunt Racing, fixtures take place throughout the winter starting Friday 19th October 2007, the racecourse has 17 fixtures each season, all are of the highest standard found in National Hunt racing. The racecourse also holds many live events at the Centaur and features Cats On Tour this summer as well as Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues band in November.

Stratford Racecourse (Stratford) (approx 35 miles from Cheltenham) Website

Stratford is a small course in Warwickshire offering a fun day out at the races in beautiful surroundings. They race between February and November with 16 fixtures each season. Admission ranges from £7 - £18. Their feature meeting is Friday 25th May - Saturday 26th May featuring the Horse & Hound Cup. Both these fixtures are evening meetings.

Warwick Racecourse (Warwick) (Approx 43 miles from Cheltenham) Website

Warwick stages both flat and jump racing throughout the year with over 25 fixtures yearly. Midweek entrance is £13 and Weekend entrance is £16. The course offers a decent card of racing and stages evening meetings in the summer with Live Music afterwards, Their feature race, The Warwickshire Gold Cup takes place in January.

Bath Racecourse (Lansdowne) (Approx 52 miles from Cheltenham) Website

Bath Racecourse just a couple of miles from the centre of Bath offers flat racing enthusiasts a cracking day out, whether it be in the picnic area in the centre of the course or in the members section, Bath Racecourse has a welcoming feel to it. 18 fixtures take place yearly with admission ranging from £10 - £19 depending on the meeting. In the summer the course has its successful evening meetings, with Live entertainment afterwards. Don't miss The Wurzel's live after racing on Friday June 1st as part of the Bath Racecourse Cider Festival.
